The Northern Lights Tea Company was founded in the summer of 2007.  We started our retail business as a "shop in shop" in Danish Bohemia, a beautiful gift shop on Grand Avenue in St. Paul, Minnesota. Since then, we have enjoyed servicing our growing customer base in the Twin Cities, as well as customers from all over the United States and other countries. 

In May 2008, our 100 square foot location was noticeably too small and we moved into our present location in the Skyway of downtown Minneapolis the following September. With over 180 of the finest teas from all over the world and a special emphasis on Japanese teas, you will surely find a favorite. At The Northern Lights Tea Company, we are committed to reducing our carbon foot print -- our search for the best tasting organic and fair trade teas is never ending and our delicious collection grows and grows. We also have a great selection of tea pots, infusers, mugs, kettles and other tea paraphernalia.

Encouraged by our loyal customers, we are now taking our first steps in e-commerce.
